What a mess?

Not sure about this, but I think I'll go with it for the moment.

In fact I've spent an hour this afternoon engineering a better solution than just plonking the body on top of the Kato mechanism. I rather fancy some sort of works trailer to go with the mobile mess van.

All it needs is an awning on the side and a menu board and you've got a rail-borne ice cream van to park at the top terminus in high season.

Thanks Stephen; I've an idea that one of the lager 4mm scale vans, possibly the Bedford CA, is available in ice cream van format, and those Kato chassis are so damn cheap ......

At last! A railway modeller with a sense of humour...I love this. I also think your masthead is so full of atmosphere I can hear the oystercatchers calling, and smell the saltmarshes. The long grass is particularly effective.
